Search Engine Spamming

Any action, which refers to the improvement of the position of a website on the search results page and violates the guidelines of the search engine, is called search engine spamming. Search engines, however, endeavor to detect spamming as early as possible and to prevent it. It the search engine detects a try of spamming on the website during the registration, the website will not be included to the index of the search engine. So, the website cannot be found and won't be displayed on the results pages. If spamming is found later on, the penalty of the search engine will be an exclusion from the index of the search engine. Known spamming methods are cloaking, doorway pages and keyword stuffing. All these actions violate the guidelines of search engines and lead in most cases to the exclusion of the site from the index.
