Recency Bonus
The recency bonus, also called fresh bonus, describes the phenomenon that newly logged sites in Google receives a bonus in form of a gift in Google, which is a high ranking. Only after a few weeks or months, these pages fall back to a position in the ranking, which they deserve. The reason for this gift is that Google evaluates the site as current and so, Google wants to present it central. Newcomers on the market get a real opportunity to bring attention to their offers. It is probably just an act from Google, to show their customer kindness, to attain customer loyalty.
