By the concept of navigation through a website we mean the kind of control the user has. A user-friendly navigation makes the moving through the main page and the associated sub-pages easier. The use of the menu bar allows the user find and select from the stored contents. An important criterion of usability for very large sites is that the main categories are divided into further sub-sections, so the user has a general overview and can find the right information easier. For the optimization of a website a clear navigation is very important, because even the best ranking doesn't lead to success if the user leaves the site immediately, because the navigation confuses him and thus is worthless.
