Keyword Density

Keyword density defines the percentage of keywords or the words of the total page. Ideally, it should be around two to four percent. If you would, for example, describe a tape of the type Revox A77 (for example, because there repair tips are offered on the domain), so the keyword "Revox A77" would appear 3 times in a text of 100 words. If the percentage is lower, the relevance of this text is not recognized for search engines in terms of the keyword. Those who enhance the percentage, runs the risk of an over-optimization, which search engines might take as spamdexing. But it shouldn't just be about search engines, but also about the visitor, who might be delighted about a well-readable text. If the term is not mentioned in the text, the reader quickly loses the reference to the object or subject - especially with a longer text. If the keyword occurs way too many times, because the keyword-text-writer or the keyword-inventor had so much joy to the keyword, that he had to mention the keyword regularly, so the frequent appearance of the keyword might annoy the reader.
