By using Google SMS the user has the possibility to search for terms per SMS and to get the information on his mobile phone. The query takes place with a simple text message to the number 31010. At the moment the Google SMS service is in the beta-phase and it is being developed and improved all the time. In Germany it works with every cellular phone network provider. An alternative possibility of Google SMS is e.g. the search for companies or shops in a town or a region. If the user wants to know where a museum in Berlin is, he sends an SMS with the content “Museum Berlin” to 31010. Google will automatically send back an SMS with the required information. Every SMS requirement costs 0,29€. At this Google works together with brunet, this takes the forwarding of the SMS on.
