Google Definition

By now the search engine Google offers you access to more than 4 billions of websites. Many of the search results you get from a certain search term are for the user less useful or just useless. Even though the results have been found and listed by an existing keyword; they do not contain the needed information. For that Google offers functions for making a search more precise. The “definition” is one of those functions. The search input has to be in this form: “define term”. On the following result page you get a link to a site with different definitions. As an alternative there can be also a definition list immediately instead of the search results. The syntax for the search field would be: “define:term” (without space). The definitions come each up with an online source. This function of the search engine is relatively new. It is build up and expanded continuously.
