Google Base
Google base is kind of a web-portal for everybody. You can publicize here every kind of contents, even if you don’t have an own website. Google puts the contents in the web. The data can be sent to Google through a standard form. The usage of pictures (.gif and .jpg) is also possible. The contents can be searched in Google, the result pages are shown depending on the relevance. To make the search easier for users, you can put attributes in your articles, which describe the contents. A link to your own webpage makes the search for the user easier, too. The user interface for Google base is only available in English and German at the moment. The adjusted articles can be edited, archived or deleted any time. If you want to use this service, you have to have a free Google-account. Any content you want to publicize, have to accord to the Google guidelines. If the contents don’t accord to the guidelines, the article will be deleted without warning.
