Undesirable results of a search engine are called false drops. These can be irrelevant sites, e.g. the keyword might come up in the page description, in the contents of the site but it might not be cohesive. So, the results are not realizable for the user. Possibly, the website has been changed or deleted. Such entries are called false drops, too. But often, false drops are created out of illegal methods, for the reaching of a better position on the results pages. Such methods might be spam via doorway pages or fake cloaking sites. A cloaking site represents itself to a search engine differently than to a visitor, and leads finally to a fake search result. Sites of the search engine undertake efforts again and again, to avoid such false drops.
