Bad Neighborhood
The negative neighborhood in terms of linking (in web presences), which are not conform to the rules of the search engines, is called “bad neighborhood”. You should keep distance from such pages and if necessary, delete every link to pages, which were deleted from the search engine index, because of breach of rules. Most of the time web presences are deleted from the index of a search engine, because of the try to spam. If a webpage is linked to such a page, the ranking of the page will be reduced in the search engine. In worst case not only the ranking will sink, but the site will be punished by eliminating it from the database of the search engine. You should be careful when choosing your link partners and having the control about them, so that it won’t come to any nasty surprises.
